Yamazaki 1984 whisky won the Supreme Champion Spirit award at the International Spirits Challenge 2010, the Nikkei reported on 10 November. The whisky’s producer, Suntory Holdings Limited, also became the first Japanese firm to be crowned Distiller of the Year at the event in Crawley, West Sussex.
