A sell-out English Serenade was presented by conductor Robert Rÿker and Tokyo Sinfonia for about 70 guests at Tokyo American Club on February 18. The dinner-concert featured English cuisine and characteristic works by three romantic composers: Cockaigne Overture (Elgar), Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis (Vaughan Williams), and Suite de Ballet (Holst).
