“Queen Forever”, organised by Universal Music, was held at Tokyo Tower from 23 November to 11 December. The event featured treasured and rare items associated with the legendary British rock band to mark its 40th anniversary and 20 years since the untimely death of frontman Freddie Mercury. The display included costumes, instruments, autographs, albums, photos, and a video of Queen’s first visit to Japan, in 1975. An auction of some items was held for victims of the 11 March earthquake.
