TV personality Cristel Takigawa (above) appeared at a British Embassy Tokyo press conference to announce that Internet streaming service Hulu had reached a video distribution deal with the BBC, effective that day, the Asahi Shimbun reported on 18 February.
Takigawa said she often watched the news and likes BBC nature documentaries, because she loves animals.
Child actor Konomi Watanabe dressed up to promote the acclaimed BBC film “Polar Bear: Spy on the Ice”, which was filmed using motorised, camouflaged cameras.
