Isetan has renewed its iconic tartan pattern and launched a line of products based on the design on 30 October at its Shinjuku headquarters, according to a press release.
Macmillan/Isetan Tartan was listed on the Scottish Register of Tartans earlier this year. In the store’s newest product range, the weave has been used to design clothing, accessories and playful items such as stuffed toys.
A variation of this version of the tartan has been used on the store’s shopping bags since Isetan’s inception in the mid-1900s.
