This winter, Aqua Kyoto is set to be the coolest venue in London with the launch of its Sake and Sushi Ice Bar, according to a 29 November press release issued by the Japan National Tourism Organization.
Until 12 February, guests can indulge in warm sake cocktails and hot bowls of delicious Japanese dishes, while surrounded by outdoor heaters and wrapped in cosy cashmere blankets.
The Sushi and Sake Ice Bar will display a vast range of premium sake, while head chef Jordan Sclare’s creations include torched salmon sushi topped with guacamole, sea bass sushi with chili and sesame, stir-fried winter chestnut udon, and steamed king crab leg in miso soup.
