A Toshiba Corporation consortium has won an order to build a nuclear-power plant in the UK, Sankei Biz reported on 20 January. Majority owned by Toshiba, the Westinghouse Electric-led consortium is called Nuclear Power Delivery UK, and includes Rolls-Royce Group plc, BAE Systems and Doosan Power.
The work to design and make the plant in Wylfa, north Wales will start in March.
