New Soft Drink Goes on Sale

A British-themed beverage produced by Schweppes has been launched in Japan, according to a press release issued on 11 June.

The royal-warranted British Lemon Tonic is popular in more than 75 countries, the statement said.

Marketed as “the new soft drink for Japan’s over-40s”, the makers hope it will become one of its best-selling products in 2012.
