Solar Power Success Story

Crystalox Limited was founded in 1982 and pioneered the development of technology for the production of multicrystalline silicon ingots. In Wantage, Oxfordshire, the firm makes multicrystalline silicon which is exported direct for processing into silicon wafers for use by many of the world’s leading solar-cell companies. Wafers for customers in Asia are produced in Japan.

Crystalox clients represent the world’s leading solar-cell producers. They incorporate the multicrystalline silicon ingots and wafers they make into solar modules to harness the clean, silent and renewable power from the sun.
