Mitsukoshi started selling Harrods 1849 Lager on 1 June at some of its department stores in Japan, lifestyle website My Life Note reported in April.
The 5.2%-alcohol beverage, which was previously served only at the Knightsbridge store’s restaurants, will be sold for ¥840 per bottle in Japan until the end of summer.
Marketed as containing no artificial ingredients, the premium lager was co-developed with a German brewery, and is made with “the best spring water from Bavaria”.
