The British Embassy Tokyo held an event on 27 July to mark two years before the start of the London 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympic Games, the Chunichi Web reported on 27 July.
In addressing the invited guests—from the UK and Japan who have links to London 2012—Ambassador David Warren noted that: “This opportunity will gain attention from all over the world. It will be a memorable Olympic Games because of the UK’s great cultural variety and creativity”.
