An English-language release of Professor Munakata’s British Museum Adventure, a manga created by the celebrated Yukinobu Hoshino, will be published, the animenewsnetwork website announced on 9 February. In 2009, Hoshino collaborated with the British Museum to create a new story for his wildly popular series on Professor Munakata, a widowed scholar of folklore and history who travels the world for adventure. The story is set in the museum as he encounters “mystical challenges” and deduces facts about some of the museum’s iconic objects.
