The Sullivan-Barnes family from Reading took part in an experiment to see how they could live without the technology of the past 30 years, NHK reported on 17 February. Each day, the family lived the equivalent of a year between 1970 and 2000, to show how much technology has changed the British home and family. The documentary shows how much the way we use our homes, family life, attitudes and childhood have changed.
