“Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion”

Exploring Japanese fashion, which has fascinated the world since the latter part of the twentieth century, the exhibition is based largely on the collection of the Kyoto Costume Institute, but also incorporates video and printed materials. The show first opened at London’s Barbican Art Gallery in 2010.

Pioneer of British Pop Art, Richard Hamilton is known for his collages incorporating advertisements from mass-circulation newspapers and magazines. The exhibition introduces about 30 of the father of pop art’s works created in the 1960s and 1970s.

“Nara Yoshitomo: a bit like you and me …”

The Tales of Beatrix Potter

Based on the children’s stories of English author and illustrator Beatrix Potter, the film stars dancers from the Royal Ballet wearing stuffed animal costumes. Originally released in 1971, it is directed by Reginald Mills and choreographed by Sir Frederick Ashton.
